If you like food then there’s Jamie Oliver’s “Fifteen” restaurant at Watergate bay or Rick Stein’s eateries over in Padstow as well as numerous wonderful smaller and less well know places dotted throughout the county. Just ask and we’ll let you know what’s around.

If you want culture and history then there’s Lanhydrock House, Geevor Tin Mine, Cotele, St Michael’s Mount or the Maritime Museum in Falmouth to name just a few of the attractions not too far away. Of course there’s also the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan if you are interested in plants and gardens.

For children you should pay a visit to the Seal Sanctury in Gweek or Flambards or take a ride on the Bodmin and Wenford steam railway.
